TEAR TROUGH FILLER

The tear trough is a hollow area that starts from the inner corner of the eye and runs diagonally down to towards the cheek. A deep tear-trough forms a shadow under the eyes and is often referred to as a ‘dark circle’. In some cases, the shadow can extend along the cheek (known as ‘nasojugal groove’) or towards the outer corner of the eye (known as a ‘palpebromalar groove’).

A hollow tear trough, nasojugal groove or palpebromalar groove can be smoothed by injecting dermal filler. Tear trough filler is injected through the cheek using a cannula. This ensures that the treatment is safe, painless and with minimal risk of bruising or swelling.
